Big Sur International Marathon 2019 - Volunteer!

The 2019 Big Sur International Marathon (BSIM) is coming up and we'd love your help! CERV supports the BSIM and works to increase community resilience and collaboration and emergency preparedness.

To register:

1. Go to: http://bigsurinternationalmarathon.volunteerlocal.com/volunteer/?start_over&id=35272

2. Enter team password: CERV

3. Click on appropriate shift(s) 

4. Enter Birthdate (Month, Year then Day) and fill out contact info.

5. Click "Join Your Team!" button at bottom of page.

2019 Health and Fitness Expo

18 volunteers are need to assist at the Portola Plaza Conference Center in Monterey on Friday, April 26th and Saturday the 27th. 
All Volunteers will receive a FREE BSIM t-shirt. Fee free to recruit family and friends to help. The more the merrier!


On Friday, April 26th we need volunteers for the following shifts:

  • 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM: 6 volunteers
  • 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM: 6 volunteers

Saturday, April 27th:

  • 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM: 6 volunteers
  • 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM: 6 volunteers
  • 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM: 6 volunteers

Marathon Day Bus Loading

For all you early risers!
Marathon Day

On Sunday Morning, April 28th we need volunteers to help get runners and walkers to the buses. 
Where: Downtown Monterey. We meet at the parking garage and deploy to strategic locations from there.

When: 3:00 AM
