CERV recognizes organizations helping us to support to Monterey County's CERT Programs. Acting as a fiscal sponsor, CERV is honored to help these programs upgrade outdated equipment and provide ongoing training for their CERT team member
In 2024
- The Community Foundation for Monterey County provided a $30,000 grant to CERV with goals to support Big Sur CERT and Carmel Valley CERT.
- The Rotary Club provided a $9,800 grant to Carmel-by-the-Sea CERT through the Community Foundation and CERV to purchase a mobile Incident Command trailer.
- The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea awarded a grant of $3,000 to Carmel-by-the- Sea CERT to purchase first aid materials, uniforms, communication equipment and training.
- The Weston Call Foundation through the Community Foundation and CERV provided a $2,700 grant to Big Sur CERT to support training of CERT volunteers.
The motto of all CERT programs is
"To do the most good for the most people" in the event of a disaster.
