Monterey Youth Center Workshop

Monterey Youth Center Workshop

Posted by Sarah Blackstone on

We had a very successful second workshop at the Monterey Youth Center! Mike Castaneda and CERV led a Citizen Action Seminar about "Emergency Awareness & Planning for People with Disabilities & Functional Challenges." Residents learned about emergency preparation planning and practicing, how to stay informed during, before and after an emergency, sheltering in place and how to prepare the home and workplace. Special emphasis was placed on how to help people in the community with disabilities and functional challenges. The next workshop will take place on September 28th in the Marina Council Chambers.
