CERV of the Monterey Peninsula Non Profit Guidestar Gold Transparency 2021

CERV of the Monterey Peninsula is proud to have been awarded the Guidestar Gold Transparency Seal for 2021 by Candid. Candid was born February 1, 2019, when Foundation Center and GuideStar joined forces. They connect people who want to change the world with the resources they need to do it.

Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Guidestar finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Through research, collaboration, and training, they connect nonprofits, foundations, and individuals to the resources they need to do good, building on 88 years of dedicated experience.

Our world is changing. Faith in established systems is crumbling. As the role of government shifts, people want the private sector to do more and more. But it’s hard to know whom to trust. It’s no wonder people don’t want to challenge their beliefs.

CERV of the Monterey Peninsula sees the big picture and is at the leading edge of change for promoting and sustaining preparedness, readiness and response to emergencies and critical events. We’re idealists and realists at the same time and we're proud to have been recognized by Guidestar for our commitment to transparency.
